Clear Path to Gainzville! Ahawks 12 week Clear Muscle Log

It's on! This is another high volume clear muscle log. I'll be incorporating GVT and high reps sometimes as high as 30 reps into my routine. I'm going to push hard. I am hoping Clear Muscle helps me improve on recover time, and preserve gains during this long log.

STATS and PRS

Weight 185 Height 5'10

PRs Bench 305 DL 425 Squat 405



GOALS
I am currently bulking. I will continue to bulk for the first 4 weeks of this log. After that I will be going on an 8 week cut. My goal weight at the end of the cut will be 172. That will put me somewhere around 10 percent body fat.

Supplements

I'll be dosing Clear Muscle 3 morning 3 evening on non workout days and on workout days 2 morning 2 pre workout and 2 at night. I will be taking a pre workout and Muscletech MultiVitamin / Fish Oil. Protein will be supplemented to hight a macro of 1 gram per pound. 185 per day is goal.

First off, I want to thank llahhsoj and the rest of the Muscle Tech team for selecting me as one of the lucky winners in the "3 months of Clear Muscle for 50 users” promo. I just finished using MT’s 100% Platinum Betaine for the past several weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the results I experienced while using it. I have never tried any of HMB supplements , but have read A TON of great reviews on it since MT released their version. I'm definitely excited to see what's in store over the next few weeks while I'm logging this product. Clear Muscle was shown in a clinical study to increase lean muscle mass, strength, power, thickness and overall recovery.

Right now, I am currently in a lean bulking phase. I track my macros during using MyFitnessPal and I am slowly upping my cal right now I'm at 2600 a day (probably need to up it to 2800 or so). I've always struggled with the concept that eating any more than my maintenance will just lead to more and more squish on me and not muscle. I was WAY undereating for my activity level (was eating 1900-2000 cals/day at the beginning of this year and weighed 137 lbs). Now, I've been eating 2600 for the past few months (ate around 2400 over the summer) and I'm up to 139-140 lbs on any given day.

I workout fasted first thing in the morning after waking up. Typical schedule is: Wake up, down my preworkout supps, pack my wife and I's lunches for the workday, foam roll for a few minutes and then set about my workout! I've tried working out with some food in my stomach before, and I feel that I have better training sessions when my stomach is relatively empty.

I workout at home and my set up consists of: adjustable bench, PowerBlock U-90 dumbbells, multi-grip pullup bar, 4 lb - 12 lb medicine balls, and a stability ball. I'll need to modify the traditional GVT exercises to accomodate my equipment set up, but I have not doubt I'll be able to make something work! I'm used to high volume style training, so the appeal of running the GVT program was right up my alley!

Clear Muscle arrived today, so excited to try it and start making some gains. Took my first serving today of 2 pills three times daily for a total of six pills. I am starting at around 218 hoping to put on some weight for next years football season. I would like to be around 230 before the season starts. I play defensive end at a small school in Idaho that is Naia. I will be taking tomorrow off because it is Christmas, but will be back in the gym on Friday! More to come on the Clear Muscle, so far no taste, easy to swallow and great packaging that draws your eye!

Today is the perfect day to begin my 3 month (120 day, 12 weeks) log of clear muscle.

Training Overview:

Program is going to be similar to project mass so i might as well post up the program

3 blocks (mesocycles) 4 weeks long
6 workouts every 8 days hitting each bodypart in a push, pull, and legs type format followed by a day of rest with some cardio

Also, there will be intermittent overreach phases built in and I plan on ending the program with a 2-3 week overreach followed by a week of "relative rest"


Supplements
Clear Muscle will be dosed as instructed
Occasionally a preworkout (#shatter muscletech or Myoblitz RCS) ill inform the log when I use
Whey protein in the form of a shake as a snack

About me:
I'm 26 years old, about 2 years lifting experience (consistently for the last year), and currently cutting slowly!

I lift 5 days a week and do cardio the other 2. Usually train legs, Bi/Back, Chest/Tri, Shoulder/Lats, I also toss in ab/core routines almost daily. For cardio I like to do 1-2 days of fairly intense HIIT or go hiking (currently with a 45lb backpack). I almost always train fasted.


Supplements:
Mulit, Fish Oil, Creatine, BA, various different PWO's, BCAA's (occasionally and for fasted training), various protein powders.


Diet:
Currently slowly cutting (Recomping hopefully), eating in about a 10-15% deficit (2000-2500 calories). I am for 150-200g of protein (50g of powder MAX), 60-80g of fat, and the rest 150-250g of carbs. I monitor my caloric intake/macros somewhat loosely.
(Macro source summary)

-Protein sources: Wild game meat (Elk, deer, antelope, upland game birds), dairy (milk, greek yogurt, cottage cheese), protein powders (currently, WheyHD, PES Select, PROnom23), eggs, nuts.
-Fat sources: Nuts, Dairy, Avocados, etc
-Carb sources: Yams/Sweet Potatoes, rice, beans, fruits, (I'm gluten free)




Muscletech Clear Muscle:
I will be dosing as directed, 2 capsules in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Total 6 caps per day.

What I will be looking for in terms of effects:
-Increased Recovery
-Leaner Physique
-Increase in Muscle Hardness
-Increase in Strength
-Increase in Muscle Mass


Goals:
-Increase weight to 180-185

First things first! Here is a big shoutout of thanks to Side Effects Sports for choosing me to log their Prime Protein Powder again :) I previously logged the chocolate flavor and it was a real pleasure :) This time *finger crossed* I'm hoping to log the Vanilla flavor..I haven't received my powder yet but am super stoked to get going.

Me:
I am a jack of all trades master of none kinda athlete. I love working our and being active so I have do many things and wear many hats :)
I left weights 3-4x a week with the goal of lifting heavy so that I can be competitive in powerlifting. I am currently on a VERY slow cut..sitting right now at 140lbs and looking to get to 135lbs..I know it's a small amount but weight loss for me is not easy.
I also am a Brown belt in Goju Karate..will be testing for my black belt in July. I take Karate twice a week for one hour...and immediately following Karate I take an hour long kick boxing class..
To top it off I also take Jujitsu and have one 2 hour long class a week.
So as you can see..I'm pretty active.

This log:
I plan on recording all my workouts here, and although I won't bore you with my diet I will make posts of all recipies (including Macros) of everything I make with Side Effect Sports Prime Protein Powder..if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.. I'm not an overly creative person :)

At the end of this Log I will post a detailed review of Prime Powder and sum up how I feel it did or did not aid me in my goals.

About:
Currently 21 attending full time uni and working full time as well as being the university presidents assistant at the presidential events, and being an undergraduate research assistant for the exercise science department. While I may not have much free time almost all of it is devoted to training as I find joy in it. Been training seriously for about 2years now and 1/2 year with a proper coach. SI has been pinched before and sometimes flares up so I can't deadlift with the volume I want unfortunately

Training:
so right now until february there is no new study going on which means my routine is a bit made up currently. Once february begins and I am the lab supervisor I will have a lot more structure and begin the hypertrophy study. Up till then I will be focusing on gaining power/strength rather than size. Every session begins with 1hr of olympic lifts, mainly the snatch as my coach is out of town and I don't want to ingrain wrong technique on the clean lol. Because time is tight it will be 1hr of olympic work followed by 1hr of my other routine. Weightlifting is fun and I've only been at it for 4weeks right now and theres major room to improve. I am always open to advice and encourage it.

Supps:
besides clear muscle I will be taking, and have been taking for a while now: OT, MT Platinum Betaine Nitrate, Whey/Casein, BCAA/EAA (strive+purple wraath)
I will be dosing CM at 3/3 pre/post

First off... A big shout out and thanks to llahhsoj and the fine people at Muscle Tech for the opportunity to do this log!

This will run for 3 months (12 weeks). Now for a little bit about myself, for those that don't know me:

Training style is Solo Hell Raiser Training

Training split:
Sun - Active Rest
Mon - Arms/Abs
Tues - Legs
Wed - Cardio/Active Rest/Abs
Thurs - Chest/Anterior and Medial Delts
Fri - Back/Calves/Posterior Delts/Abs
Sat - Active Rest

Diet currently is staggered with varying macros, as I'm trying to get that right feel for what I need. Consider it a "Cautious Bulk"

The full meat and potatoes of this will begin on Monday. I train on base (JBLM) and my gym is literally right across the street from the clinic I work at. The downside of that, is that it's a 90 minute drive each direction. I have my own treadmill (Deadmill) at home, for off day cardio purposes. This is a beginning point for a particular endeavor I wish to pursue once more, as well as possibly creating a path for a secondary goal as well.

Also... Just to warn people... I have a fondness for metal, horror, and have a bit of an irreverent sense of humor. *LOL*

AJs Making Gainz with Clear Muscle

First and foremost, I would like to thank IIahhsoj and Muscletech for allowing me to log this great product for 12 weeks!



About me:
I'm 26 and have been lifting for about 1 1/2 years or so. I'm currently on a slow bulk. I usually workout at least 4 days a week plus cardio, but have been going more consistently at 5-6 days a week. More recently, I have been running a PHAT style routine which always works well for me in the past and had been doing well with my lifts. I had hit the 1000lb total with 3 main lifts towards the first half of the year. Since then I strained something in my shoulder. Few weeks later felt a pop in my low back and started to develop sciatic pain. Sciatic pain has started to resolve in the past few week. Started testing it last week….my strength has dropped but no pain afterwards. Shoulder is doing better, now trying to get my bench back up!

My goals at this point are to do a slow bulk for the next 3 months and increase my strength

Routine:
My plan at this point is to do the Clear Muscle workout routine! For the first phase of the program, it is 3 days week full body sessions. Monday - Hypertrophy, Wednesday - Power, and Friday -Strength. For more information http://www.muscletech.com/trainhard/ If my low back becomes an issue, I may need to make some changes to the program but will keep it similar. Other supplements will be kept to a minimum, probably just a PWO and a multi.
I'll be taking the first dose of Clear Muscle at 4:30a about 30mins prior to workout, second dose at 11a, and last dose at 3p. Not sure if they should be spaced a little more evenly. The Capsule size isn't actually too bad, was expecting them to be a little bigger.

I received the MuscleTech Clear Muscle last week and began taking the capsules today. I took 2 capsules today with breakfast with 8oz of water and 2 capsules today before lunch with 8oz of water before my workout and will take the last 2 tonight before I go to bed.
I am 46 5'8" 187lbs and have been working out since April 2014 when I joined Bodybuilding.com. Since then I have been involved in numerous workout programs starting with Kris Gethin's 12 week trainer to Lee Labrada's Leanbody trainer and now am on the Cory Gregory's Get Swole 16 week program.

First off, I want to give a big shout out and thank you to my MuscleTech bro's for hooking myself and 49 others up with a 12 week supply of Clear Muscle. This is the second round of this giveaway but what makes this one more interesting is the fact that we get to run our own routines for 12 weeks (I'll be picking up more to extend my trial to complete 14 weeks of my routine). The routine I will be running is Project Mass, with little additions here and there (some calf and core work)

So a little about myself, I'm 27 years old, I've got a 3 and a half year old son who requires my undivided attention after work so my training is always done in the early morning at 4am. I'm married and work as an electrician during the day. Balls to the wall training by morning, electrician by day and family man by night. It gets pretty hectic but i manage lol. Been lifting for a little over 3 years now, and really started taking it seriously over the past 2 years. My long term goal is to achieve 230-235lbs, 10% bf and am currently sitting at 198, 15.5% (measured last night). Maybe a competition or two, we'll see. I've also taken all my measurements just as a reference to see how Clear Muscle treats me after my 14 weeks of use. I will be dosing Clear Muscle at 2-2-2.

My stack will pretty much continue as is with the addition of Clear Muscle. I will be using a multi, omega 3, Clear Muscle, creatine, pre workout, a stim free pump product (on certain days), BCAA/EAA's and protein.

I'm glad that I can try Clear Muscle when doing this training regiment. Most users were on a cut, so I am very excited to see how it would work on a bulk. And since I'm doing my own regiment, I will be able to tell if the CM is helping me get stronger and bigger/leaner.

So lets get down to business.

My Workout Background:

I have been working out for 3 years straight no long pauses, I workout by myself no spotter since ppl look at you crazy when u ask for spotting or they just suck at it and that made me focus on high volume type of workouts still lift lil heavy, I made great progress doing it this way from about 175lbs to 202lbs now and I wont stop, im actually excited to see how clear muscle will help me out to reach my goals and initially I wanted to go for BLUE PRINT workout by Arnold but I tried it again and realized (AGAIN) that its time consuming and I just cant doit cos of work it looks very promising tho!! so I will be doing my own routine and I will tweak it by adding more sets and reps to push myself to the limits and see how clear muscle will do.

Current Supplements:
The only consistent supplement u will be seeing me use will be Soy lecithin granules, which is a great and cheap source of PA, that's also one of the best supplements that helped me to bulk beside creatine and anabeta elite og formula, ill be using other supps here n there but not every time I workout.

Thoughts:

I have used clear muscle for 2 days now with chest and back today , one thing I noticed is a minor indigestion I take it on empty stomach, I wonder if its ok to take with food maybe that will help.

I will post later my workout routine, just wanted to get this one started first, for future references please if you have any suggestions or advices plz feel free to post it.

Last week I got this in the mail.


I am trying to gain some more strength before cutting so this couldn't have come at a better time for me.
I tried primocarb twice so far, and based off my initial thoughts, I like it. My work outs have been poor this past month, getting tired very easily and both times taking primocarb my endurance has gone up, and I didn't feel as sore the next day.

For the duration of this stack I will be taking the following supplements:
Primocarb
Creature
Orange Triad
TSN Fish Oil and CLA
Hemavol

For the most part I will be taking Primocarb preworkout mixed with Hemavol or creature.

Well, thanks to Evogen's rep, Pretty Boy Floyd and Evogen themselves, I have been given a trial run with 2 of their raved about supplements, Carnigen & Lipocide, the supposed "shred fast stack".

Anyways, I started using Lipocide & Carnigen on Sunday, per the protocol for now; 1 cap Lipocide and 1 scoop of Carnigen first thing in morning, 1 cap Lipocide early afternoon and 1 scoop Carnigen pre training and I mix this with whatever pwo I am using at the time. On "off" days, will take the afternoon dose of Carnigen with the afternoon cap of Lipocide.

Anyways, what I will be looking for, obviously, is to reduce any amount of bodyfat and percentage there of while maintaining muscle and improve on definition. Nutrition is key, as we all know, however, mine is not what you would call clean. Not dirty by any means but could be better. I am already working to tighten this up s bit.

Training is what you would call "it's what I do". Cardio comes on an as time permits basis, meaning, I would rather lift but have to sacrifice, as time allows, for some form or fashion of cardio, especially to help the ticker as I am not a youngun anymore :D

I have to work around a few body malfunctions at the moment; one being a shoulder impengment, another being an on going issue in the sciatic area which has been a biytch, but most of all, a titanium plate and screws in my cervical spine at C5-C7. So I do what I can do and put in more effort than some people I see in the gym younger than me and even maybe stronger than me.

I did not weigh myself Sunday morning, however, this morning I was a fluffy 183 lb. bleck :o

I have had 3 training sessions with the combo thus far. I will post these then give some first intial impressions of the supplements after.

Will also give a few of the other supplements I will be using during this little log as well.

Hey everybody!

Wanted to go ahead and get this up here. About to dose my first caps and head over to the gym to tackle legs, but wanted to make sure I got something up first.

Thanks to all the awesome folks over at MT for getting a great product out and llahhsoj for selecting the many of us logging. Much appreciated.

About me: 6' - 205#, probably upwards of 15+ %bf. I'm 25 years old and have been lifting on and off since about 22. Fitness became a huge passion of mine in one of the harder parts of my life. When other people and things would let me down, the iron never lied - just made me work harder. Now I'm loving the never ending journey.

Goals: my goals are to continue to drop body fat and hopefully gain some strength along the way. Getting married in March right around week 11/12 of this log, so I'm jazzed to see what kind of results I can get by then. Running Kris Gethin's new 12 week trainer and just starting week 2. Holiday transitions and a few sicknesses put me back a few days but I'm excited to jump into this.

Supplements: Dosing 2 caps spread 3 times daily. Taking creatine, various pre workouts, fish oil, orange triad, protein, and finishing up the last 4 days of an 8 week run of Norco+AT2+Forskolin, so it'll be done before this kicks in.

Excited to give this a run. Will try to get pics up periodically as well. Good luck to everybody and happy New Years!
